IT-based technical writing
Involved in IT since the mid-1980's, Cathy Morison has had practical involvement in system operation, administration, database administration and development, networking and PCs.
The move to technical writing, as well as web development and graphic design, has used two areas that have been a great passion of Cathy's career, computers and digital art/layout.
Cathy has worked in a wide range of areas, creating documents that are technical, user-focused and infrastructure-focused.
She is a member of the Australian Society for Technical Communication and presented a session at their recent Annual Conference (on Cascading Style Sheets).
She has an Australian security clearance and has worked in areas of sensitivity in several Government departments.
