Business analysis and database design: Cathy Morison has worked in IT database administration, business analysis and technical writing for a number of government departments. She designed and developed the SupportLink Referral Management System and has produced technical specifications for a number of database systems.

Award Winning Web
At the 2004 ACT Early Intervention Awards, Cathy Morison received a Special Acknowledgement for Outstanding Technical Contribution to Early Intervention within the ACT based on the development of the SupportLink System.
This system, designed and developed based on the principals of a patented early intervention model, has become an invaluable tool used by the ACT Police to provide support to the people they come into contact with in the course of their shifts.
By referring them through the security encrypted web-based system at SupportLink, these people are assessed and help is coordinated. The system following each referral through to its conclusion , ensuring no referral slips through the cracks.
Cascading With Style
At the 2005 National Conference of the Australian Society for Technical Communication, Cathy Morison delivered a well-received session on the use of cascading style sheets to an audience of technical writers, on-line help developers and other professionals.
